DESCRIPTION
Some hive days are calm. Some are not. Your jacket should be ready for both. Bend over the hive. Jacket rides up. Stand up. Pull it down. Bend again. Same thing. Meanwhile, a bee finds the gap at your neck while you're busy fighting your own clothing.
That's not a beekeeping problem. That's a jacket problem.
The Sting Stopper Bee jacket was built after talking to beekeepers who were tired of the same three failures — torsos that ride up, zippers that jam when your hands are full, and veils that press against your face while you're trying to spot eggs on a frame. So we fixed them. The torso is extended. It stays down when you bend. That's it. That's the fix.
The fabric is triple-layer ventilated mesh — sting-proof, but breathable enough that plenty of beekeepers skip the shirt underneath. It handles wasps and hornets too.
The zippers are heavy-duty YKK with oversized pull rings. They don't snag. They don't jam. They work when you need them to.
The neck has an overlapping seal right where bees look for gaps. The veil is removable, collapsible, and made with Italian mesh so you can actually see what you're doing. It opens at the front when you need a drink or fresh air.
The cuffs are double-wide elastic with velcro straps. The elbows are reinforced. There are pockets for tools, your phone, and snacks.
It comes in white or olive green. We wear the green because dirt doesn't show.
Pull it on like a hoodie. Zip it up. Get to work.
